Gelişim University, sometimes called Istabul Gelişim University, is a private university located in Istanbul Turkey and established by the Gelişim Education, Culture, Health and Social Service foundation in 2008. Gelişim University was first named the Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School but later went on to be established in 2011 as the Gelişim University, home to four faculties, two educational schools, and two vocational schools. Since then, it has branched out to become one of the best modern Turkish universities and one of the top when it comes to the immense number of specialisations students can choose from. The university is located in the centre of Istanbul, with a huge research complex made up of over 100 laboratories, 17 research centers and more than 50 student clubs that students can choose to take part in, growing socially and culturally as they engage in their university adventure.
